The dataset is derived from the 2016 Dynamic Monitoring Survey Data on Floating Population conducted by the National Health and Family Planning Commission. Subsequently, it was processed using STATA statistical software to generate an Excel attribute data table. The data reflects the basic characteristics of China's provincial-level floating population in 2016, including the number of individuals and row-wise percentage distribution of gender, age structure, registered permanent residence location, ethnic group, educational attainment, household registration type, marital status and other indicators across various classification intervals.
