genomic DNA of differs goat breeds from Punjab/Pakistan and Switzerland were extracted, equimolar breed pools (12 female animals/breed/pool) created and sequenced (HiSeq3000 150bp paired-end/ ~300mio reads obtained). Reads were quality-filtered (fastq-mcf), mapped (bwa-mem) against ARS1, converted into bam and sorted (samtools) and duplicated reads are marked (Picard-tools MarkDuplicates).
