资源简介:
Description of the datasetThis dataset contains raw field data on flowering plant species recorded in urban green areas. It documents the taxonomic composition of flowering plants and measurements related to pollen and nectar production, together with abundance estimates used to assess floral resource availability for pollinators. Each row represents one plant species recorded in one study population during a single sampling event. The dataset consists of unprocessed field measurements used for subsequent analyses in the associated research study.Structure of the dataThe dataset is provided as a single comma-separated values (CSV) file. Rows represent individual records of plant species observed in a given population on a given date, and columns contain taxonomic information, sampling information, and floral resource variables.Variable descriptionspecies Scientific name of the recorded plant species.family Botanical family of the recorded plant species.data Date of sampling.population Code of the study population / sampling site.anther mass Mean dry mass of a single anther.anther_nb Number of anthers per flower.flower_nb Number of flowers per inflorescence.inflorescence_nb Number of inflorescences per sprout.sprout_nb Number of sprouts recorded for a given species in the sampling unit.total pollen mass [mg] Estimated total pollen mass produced by a species in the sampling unit, expressed in milligrams.nectar mass Mean nectar mass per flower.total nectar mass [g] Estimated total nectar mass produced by a species in the sampling unit, expressed in grams.Data collectionData were collected during field surveys conducted in urban green areas during the flowering season. Species were identified in situ using standard botanical identification keys. Sprout numbers were counted directly, while the number of inflorescences per sprout was estimated as a mean value based on representative individuals.Data processingNo data normalization, filtering, or transformation was applied prior to archiving. Calculated values are limited to the multiplication of sprout number and inflorescences per sprout to obtain total inflorescence counts.Reuse potentialThe dataset may be reused for studies on urban plant community structure, floral resource availability, pollination ecology, and landscape ecology. It is suitable for comparative analyses across urban habitats and for meta-analyses of floral abundance patterns.
