As a chemotherapeutic agent, cisplatin is widely used for treating solid tumor. However, administration of cisplatin may lead to acute kidney injury (AKI). In our previous study, we found that annexin A2 (ANXA2) was increased in cisplatin-induced AKI mice and exerted obvious protective effect on the kidney function. However, the underlining mechanisms remain unclear. Thus, RNA sequencing was performed on qualified RNA sampled from mice with different expression background of ANXA2. The aims was to detect any possible mechanisms that may be involved in the protective effect of ANXA2 when cisplatin was administered on the mice.
