Share of young people combining education and employment in France 2020, by age

The French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) defines work-study combination as a situation in which a person reports both being in initial training and having a job during a given week. In 2020, younger people were most likely to be in this situation, particularly women between the ages of 19 and 23, and men between the ages of 18 and 22. In addition, at age 21, the proportion of women combining education and employment was six points higher than that of their male counterparts.

法国国家统计与经济研究所（INSEE）将工作与学习相结合定义为个人在同一周内既报告处于初步培训状态，又拥有工作的情形。2020年，年轻人群中最有可能处于此种状态，尤其是19至23岁的女性和18至22岁的男性。此外，在21岁时，女性教育就业相结合的比例比男性同行高出六个百分点。
