This collection includes temperature profile and other data collected using bathythermograph (BT/XBT) casts, meteorological sensors, secchi disks, and bottle casts from multiple platforms primarily in the Pacific Ocean from May 22, 1975 to July 8, 1990. Data were submitted by multiple institutions as part of the Thermal Structure Monitoring Program in the Pacific (TRANSPAC) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Universal Bathythermograph Output (UBT) format.
