TiC/Ti6Al4V composite mechanical property dataset is primarily dedicated to the research on tensile mechanical properties of TiC/Ti6Al4V composites fabricated via laser additive manufacturing. By optimizing the laser additive manufacturing process and applying ultrasonic shock-pulse current assistance during the fabrication procedure, Ti6Al4V alloys with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties can be obtained. The tensile mechanical property data of laser additively manufactured TiC/Ti6Al4V composites and third-party test data were collected using an Instron-5569 universal testing machine at the testing stations of Harbin Institute of Technology and AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials. The recorded results mainly include the yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and elastic modulus of the composites. The total size of this dataset is 1.51 MB.
