Dataset in support of the Southampton doctoral thesis 'Intelligence-aided Channel Estimation and Detection for Multi-dimensional Index Modulation'.

The data reflects the research process in which the following parts were analysed: In the first part, the maximum likelihood (ML) detection for both the hard and soft decision of the CS-JMIM is applied. In the second part, once the ML-based detector is applied, the corresponding samples are used for training learning-based detection model. Additionally, channel estimation (CE)-aided detector and joint channel estimation and detection are analysed.
