Danish Election Study 1990 contains data collected by the Danish Gallup Institute in January 1991. # #The following information is included in the data material: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household and number of adults (15 years or more) and children in the household, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status and income; total income of the household; education and occupational status of the head of the household; occupational status of the housewife; type of dwelling and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; party preference; whether the respondent voted at the general election on 12 December, 1990; the respondent's newspaper reading habits and habits as regards weeklies, magazines, etc.; the respondent's interest in the election campaign in the mass media; whether the country's problems are best solved by a non-Socialist or a Social Democratic government; the respondent's attitude to the EC; a number of political questions regarding e.g. public expenditure, standard of living, state control of trade and industry, the position of banks and large-scale industry; Denmark's role in international conflicts; NATO's role in the future; assessment of various types of social structures which Denmark may aim at in the future; the respondent's attitude to public expenditure in various fields; attitude to a number of issues in the political debate; priority ordering in case of tax reliefs; membership of a trade union; social class; attitude to various issues in the EC debate; and the respondent's affiliation to a political party
