According to a survey carried out in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2020, 41.3 percent of eye condition sufferers had routine check-up appointments canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, over 20 percent had treatment appointments canceled due to the pandemic, while nine percent were affected because they were unable to travel to their appointments.
