Mouse faecal samples from a range of mouse backgrounds were plated onto a variety of media. The faecal samples and plate scrapes were 16S profiled to show the bacteria each media was able to grow from the original faecal sample. This was to give a better understanding of what bacteria could or could not be cultured and which media should be used to target bacteria of interest.
