RNA sequencing of uveal melanoma cells

Uveal melanoma (UM) is a lethal intraocular malignancy with limited therapeutic options and poor prognosis due to its immunologically "cold" phenotype. Endogenous retroviruses (ERVs) are increasingly recognized as regulators of tumor immunity and progression, yet their role in UM remains unexplored. In this study, we performed an integrated analysis combining single-cell RNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, epigenomic profiling, and functional assays to systematically characterize the expression landscape and regulatory mechanisms of ERVs in UM.
