Brachyteles hypoxanthus isolate:MCK_02-PD_2116 Genome sequencing

First draft genome assembly of the critically endangered primate species Brachyteles hypoxanthus. Sample was obtained from the project Muriquis do Caparao (Save the Muriqui Project) in the Caparao National Park from Instituto Chico Mendes de Biodiversidade (ICMBio) - Minas Gerais, Brazil. Sequencing was performed in the Institut de Biologia Evolutiva, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain, in the context of the Whole Primate Genome Sequencing Initiative. Assembly was performed in the context of the National Institutes for Science and Technology in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity Conservation (INCT - EECBio) from Laboratorio de Genetica & Biodiversidade - Universidade Federal de Goias, Goiania - Brazil.
