ICE Scotland

ICE Scotland is still under construction but will eventually constitute a 1-million-word corpus of spoken and written Scottish English as it is used in Scotland at the beginning of the 21st century. The corpus contains the text categories and annotations specified by the International Corpus of English (ICE) project plus a number of additional linguistic annotations such as part-of-speech and phonemic transcriptions. The corpus is available in an XML-format.
This is Release 03 of ICE Scotland [for earlier releases please see 'https://github.com/langres/ICE-Scotland']. It contains all ICE text categories except business transactions, cross-examinations, phonecalls, business and social letters as well as student exams. The text categories conversations and novels are incomplete.
