Geochemical and chronological dataset of Holocene explosive eruptions of Erciyes volcano (Central Anatolia, Turkey)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset compiles the geochemical and chronological data supporting the study “Reconstructing the Holocene explosive eruptive history of Erciyes volcano (Turkey) using proximal and distal tephra records”. It includes major and trace element compositions of volcanic glass shards obtained by EPMA and LA-ICP-MS analyses, as well as radiocarbon dating results associated with proximal tephra deposits. The dataset integrates proximal stratigraphic data with distal tephrochronological correlations across the Black Sea, Eastern Mediterranean, and Europe. These data are used to constrain the timing, magnitude, and dispersal of Holocene explosive eruptions from the Erciyes volcanic system, including the Karagüllü, Perikartin, and Dikkartin eruptive units. All data are provided in tabulated format and correspond to the Supplementary Materials (SM1–SM4) of the associated manuscript.
