MATLAB structures of optically elicited EPSCs and IPSCs recorded from L2/3 pyramidal neurons in M2, under different experimental conditions (Figures 4, S5). Each .mat file has a descriptor in the file name for the relevant experiment: endogenous_EPSCs_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure 4), PV_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure S5e-f), WT-THR_EPSCs_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure S5h-i), DN-THR_EPSCs_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure S5k-l), deltaCre_Robo3_EPSCs_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure S5n-o), Cre_Robo3_EPSCs_IPSCs_T3vsC (Figure S5q-r). Each .mat file contains 2 structures, one for EPSCs, one for IPSCs. Fields of the structures: Cm = membrane capacitance; Rm = membrane resistance; Rs = series resistance; Ih = holding current; treatment = T3 (1) or Control (0) treatment condition; traces = original recorded traces (at - 70 mV for EPSCs, and 0 mV for IPSCs) at each laser power (typically 3 recorded traces per laser power). traceOrder = the randomized order of laser power stimulation; binnedLaser = binned laser stimulus strength ordered by power; laserPower = the laser power measured at each stimulus strength for each experiment; sampleID = ID for each animal used.
