Mr. Karma Wangdi is showing Tashi Tshwang, Gajay, and his grandkids how to practice appeasement of Nêpo. Nêpo is a Dakpa "tram", which means "guest". Here, it is referred to as a local ghost who steals the life force of humans. When he steals the life force of a particular person, he is appeased by raising prayer flags using mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), and by offering wine. Tashi Tshewang made this recording. .
