Piglet Glacier (Antarctica) Ice Speeds, Elevation Change, and Boundary, 2010–2025

This dataset supplements the manuscript “Ice shelf retreat decouples Piglet Glacier from the Pine Island catchment and amplifies dynamic mass loss (Kim et al., in revision).” It provides the main geospatial products used in the analysis of Piglet Glacier, West Antarctica, including annual ice-speed mosaics, monthly CryoSat-2 surface elevation change fields, the Piglet Glacier basin boundary, and monthly velocity time series extracted at representative two sites near the grounding line and farther inland. The files included in this record are: PIG_Piglet_ice_speed_annual_mosaic_v2.nc: Annual ice-speed mosaics for the Pine Island–Piglet Glacier region (2015–2024) derived from Sentinel-1 SAR feature tracking. Piglet_CS2_dH_monthly_201007_202505.nc: Monthly surface-elevation-change fields from CryoSat-2 swath altimetry for July 2010 to May 2025. basin_boundary_Piglet.nc: Basin boundary of Piglet Glacier used for basin-scale elevation and volume change calculations. speed_time_series_point_land.nc: Ice-speed time series (monthly) at the inland reference site used in the manuscript. speed_time_series_point_gl.nc: Ice-speed time series (monthly) at the grounding-line reference site used in the manuscript.
