Pollen counts of the Alto dell'Ortles ice core #1

The dataset includes the Alto dell'Ortles core #1 pollen counts (from surface to a depth of 45.023 m w.e.) of all pollen types used to calculate the DOY46 and DOY32 records used to obtain the annual layer counting for the ice core with Staticounter. For DOY46 all 46 pollen types in this dataset were used; for DOY 32 the following selection of 32 types was used: Abies; Acer; Ambrosia; Artemisia; Betula; Cannabaceae; Carpinus betulus; Castanea sativa; Corylus avellana; Cyperaceae; Ericaceae; Fagus; Fraxinus excelsior; Fraxinus ornus; Hedera helix; Juglans; Larix; monolete spores; Olea; Ostrya T.; Palmae; Picea; Pinus cembra; Polygonum; Populus; Quercus robur T.; Ranunculaceae; Rubiaceae; Salix; Tilia; Ulmus; Vitis.
