Gene expression and identification of japanese quail embryonic forebrain cells.

We used single cell RNAseq to identify the populations and identity of cells present in the japanese quail forebrain during its embryonic stages. Overall design: Japanese quail embryo forebrains were extracted and grown in vitro, from multiple quails onto multiple neuronal culture plates, infected with an AAV expressing YFP. Cultured japanese quail neuronal forebrain cells were collected and analyzed using scRNAseq.
