资源简介:
The social franchise demand creation program is tasked with creating demand for the Tunza network franchised services (FP, HTC, IMCI, cervical cancer screening), through the use of interpersonal communication (IPC) as a channel. The program has adopted the Tunza IPC model in the community mobilization strategy. In an effort to increase the cost effectiveness of the program as well as improve the prospects of sustainability, the Partnership and Outreach Department proposed to pilot a hybrid of the Community Health Strategy (developed by the Kenyan Ministry of Health –MoH) and the Willows model. PSI decided to implement a pilot using CHWs instead of PSI-hired Tunza Mobilizers, with a focus on one-on-one visits and small group sessions, which was shown to be effective in the Willows model in Turkey. In order to assess the efficacy of the pilot, data was collected and analyzed to assess the hybrid/pilot model’s performance as compared to the Tunza model on reach, performance and quality, referrals, services provided (outcome), and cost.
