Raw data for: Artificial snake hibernacula provide suitable microclimate but are not immediately adopted

The two CSV files (Environmental Variation.csv, Temperature of Snakes.csv) contain the raw data used in the article “Artificial snake hibernacula provide suitable microclimate but are not immediately adopted”. Following an industrial disturbance, we used the establishment of two artificial hibernacula to evaluate the structures’ ability to buffer external conditions, match the thermal needs of Great Basin Gophersnakes (Pituophis catenifer deserticola), and monitor adoption by the original cohort of displaced snakes in the main hibernaculum. These data sets provide the microclimatic data of the two artificial hibernacula, external air temperature, snake body temperature, and snow depth over the two study years.
