The high-energy radiative environment around low-mass stars is driven by emissions from the stellar upper atmosphere comma including the transition region and corona. These emissions from X-rays to ultraviolet wavelengths have important consequences for exoplanetary atmospheres and their evolution comma including significant mass loss and atmospheric chemistry. We propose to measure the X-ray emission in a UV selected sample of active M-dwarfs to examine the rotational evolution of both X-rays and UV emission comma and constrain how M-dwarf coronal structure changes with angular momentum evolution. These data will enable new efforts to estimate otherwise unobservable extreme ultraviolet emission comma an important ingredient in planet atmospheric modeling comma through modeling of the coronal atmosphere.
