Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1973, Omnibus no. 05

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1973 comprises 10 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1973. Originally, there were 11 surveys, but the data from the first survey are not in the possession of the DDA. #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables and some variables dealing with current topics. The demographic variables are common to all the surveys and form the basis of the year file, which contains the demographic variables for all the cases of the 10 surveys. The common variables are: residence according to degree of urbanization, the respondent's sex, age, marital status, occupational status, education and gross income, household gross income, occupational status of head of household, size of household, type of dwelling, number of children under the age of 15, the age of the children, number of adults in household, the respondent's position in household, occupational status of spouse, and party preference. #The topics dealt with in the special variables in this survey are: # #Attitudes to the Government; summer holiday destinations; vote at the referendum on Danish membership of the EC; voting intention if a referendum was held on the day of the interview; political problems which must be solved; forms of address (the deferential 'De' versus the familiar 'du'); and change of prime minister
