Revista de Admnistração da Unimep: historical analysis of the journal’s characteristics and contributions in the period 2003 to 2017

Abstract This article presents a qualitative descriptive analysis of the characteristics and contributions of the journal Revista de Administração da Unimep (RAUnimep), allocated to the Methodist University of Piracicaba (PPGA/Unimep) Post Graduation Program in Business Administration. It is an open access online journal, created and maintained intermittently since 2003. The analysis considers the period from 2003 to 2017. The results show it is possible to determine the expressive characteristics of the journal’s breadth and geographic reach; the value of its educational and cultural preamble, and the technological economy contributions to companies, organizations, students, researchers and Business Administration professionals.
