Landslide Susceptibility Mapping in Taizz, Yemen: Comparative Modeling and Field-Based Geotechnical Validation

This repository contains supplementary materials supporting the manuscript "Landslide Susceptibility Mapping in Taizz, Yemen: Comparative Modeling and Field-Based Geotechnical Validation" submitted to the Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering. Files included: Table S1_Raw_Field_Data_LPI.csv – Raw field data and scored weights of the studied landslides used for the Landslide Possibility Index (LPI) geotechnical validation framework. The LPI serves as an independent field-based benchmark for validating the predictive performance of machine learning models. Table S2_FR_Spatial_Correlation.csv – Spatial correlation analysis between landslide occurrence and each of the 18 landslide influencing variables using the Frequency Ratio (FR) model. This table provides the FR values and relative importance of each factor.
