Included are the Matlab files for running the simulation described in Section 4.3 of Davis-Stober, C. P., Brown, N., Park, S., & Regenwetter, M. Recasting a biologically motivated computational model within a Fechnerian and random utility framework.To run the simulation, put the file "FSISim.m" in your current Matlab directory and type "FSISim" in the command line and press enter.The Mathematica file "ConditionalDistDavisStoberetal.nb" was used to numerically calculate the expected values and variances of the I_{A} and I_{B} random variables as a function of the w parameter. These terms are then used in the Matlab simulation files. You can find them in the "PNASnormalapprox" function which is in the file "FSISim.m".
