We found that P22 phage tail spike protein could sensitize bacteria to T6SS antagonism. We wondered if the ability to sensitize S. enterica to interbacterial antagonism is specific to the model phage P22 or if this trait is widespread in natural environments. We aim to isolate the phages from the environment and see whether environmental phages have same function in their TSP.
