资源简介:
Subjects were recruited in five research centers from central and southern regions of Chile between March 2, 2017, and December 31, 2017. Hospitalized subjects with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of ANDV infection by serology or RT-qPCR were invited to participate. Exclusion criteria included patients connected to extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) at enrollment. For healthy controls, additional exclusion criteria included the presence of chronic disease, pregnancy, acute infectious symptoms, or who has presented one in the 2 weeks prior to enrollment. Severe HCPS patients are defined as those who develop cardiopulmonary shock and need to receive vasoactive drugs and mechanical ventilation as treatment. Three blood samples were collected during the acute phase (on day 0, 1-2 and 5-6) after the onset of cardiopulmonary symptoms and one sample in convalescent-phase (day 60). The PBMCs were separated and RNA was extracted. RNA-seq libraries were prepared with Illumina Truseq Stranded mRNA chemistry. Libraries were sequenced in multiplex on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform in 50M reads in pairs. Samples from 12 severe patients and 9 healthy controls were sequenced.
