All genes altered in three comparisons. First, the extended longevity effect of CR switching to AL with lipoic acid. Next, the inhibitory effect lipoic acid had on extended longevity when switching from AL to CR feeding. Finally, the genes specific to CR feeding when switched to AL feeding with lipoic acid supplementation in comparison with the opposite switch which does not induce increased longevity.
