In this study, we present the draft genome sequence for Leuconostoc gelidum sbsp gasicomitatum MFPA44A1401. This strain was isolated from a modified atmosphere-packed beef carpaccio. The draft genome will contribute to understand the role of L. gasicomitatum species in spoilage of food products through comparative genomics with other strains.
