Pre- and post-event active channel footprints associated with the 26 August 2026 Rasuwa (Bhotekoshi-Trishuli) flood

This repository comprises pre- and post-flood active channel footprint data connected to the 26 August 2026 Rasuwa / Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flood event (Tibet-Nepal).The core active channel outputs are automatically derived from 10 m-resolution Sentinel-2 imagery acquired 12 August 2026 (pre-flood) and 21 September 2026 (post-flood) using a Google Earth Engine (GEE) workflow. Supplementary data comprise manually mapped active channel boundaries (supporting independent error assessment of the automatically mapped footprints). The data generation and post-processing workflow, and independent accuracy assessment, are described in the accompanying readme.txt file, which potential data users are advised to review first.
