Individual level of technology adoption models used and the constructs

Several studies across disciplines have used, developed, and supported technology adoption theories to guide stakeholders in academia, government and business. However, in the recent paradigm shift referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), technology adoption models used and associated factors remains vague. This dataset provides an overview of what models and constructs are currently being used.
Using a systematic literature review (SLR) based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) methodology, 3007 publications were identified.
Of these 125 articles between 2015 and 2021 were deemed relevant as they specifically used a technology adoption model and applied it within the construct of this paradigm. Each model, whether combined or stand alone was then logged including the constructs that were found relevant. This is presented in this dataset.
