Cultivating a culture of post- COVID-19 prevention: understanding knowledge, awareness and practices of COVID-19 in Sarawak

This dataset examines the relationship between public knowledge, awareness, and attitudes towards post-COVID-19 infection prevention in Sarawak. Data were collected from 1,128 respondents across various geographic areas in Sarawak through a Google Form link and QR code. Analysis was conducted using SPSS 28.0 and WarpPLS 8.0. The findings reveal that public knowledge and awareness positively influence attitudes towards infection prevention, with an unsupported relationship found between public awareness and prevention practices. This research offers insights for public health officials and policymakers to enhance communication strategies and digitalization efforts for economic recovery. The study highlights the importance of accurate information in shaping public awareness and practices for future pandemic management.
