Participants were recruited from the Predict-CP study (National Health and Medical Research Council 107757 Partnership Project) (8), which followed up children from the population-based Australian CP-Child prospective cohort study (NHMRC 465128)(9) at one timepoint between 8-12 years of age. All children were born in Queensland, Australia in the birth years 2006 and 2009, and had a medical diagnosis of CP. Written informed consent was collected from each family and relevant institutional ethics approval was obtained. Ninety-four children participated in the Predict-CP cohort (Figure 1). The falls questionnaire was completed for 66/94 (70.2%) children (classified as Gross Motor Function Classification System I = 61%, II = 31%, III = 8%, aged 8-13 years (M = 9.5; SD = 1.2) and 73% were male. Participants also completed several lower limb functional and mobility assessments
