On an assignment from The Research Council of Norway the research institutes Fafo (Institute for Labour and Social Research), NOVA (Norwegian Social Research) and Social Welfare Research Centre Sosialforsk a national survey is made. The theme is level of living and social network. The purpose is to get more knowledge on people's social network and what importance these networks have, for example when one chooses education or job. Finally one wishes to find out people's attitude towards current welfare political questions.
