Systematic Literature Review Data on Photovoltaic Digital Twin Research

The data was gathered from a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) process following the “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA)” methodology by Moher et al., with the aim of analysing research trends on Photovoltaic Digital Twin (PVDT) implementations in the literature. The data file includes article metadata collected from various databases, along with processed data including filtration and categorisation of the research articles. The articles were collected from a number of databases (e.g. Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), IEEE Xplore, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) digital library, and Wiley online library).
