Data and scripts underlying the manuscript: Quantifying landfill emission potential using a weakly coupled particle filter

Repository for manuscript: Quantifying landfill emission potential using a weaklycoupled particle filter. It includes the input and measurement data (rainfall, EV, outflow, concentration), the model scripts in folder landfillmodules, the data assimilation scripts in folder BB11Z_noexchange. To use the script, you need to run the code following the description in the manuscript (We use a_* to generate synthetic truth, b_* to generate initial particles, c_* to evaluate the ensemble generation performance, d_* to run DA, e_male_plots to generate some plots. Scripts with s in the name use small initial bulk storage). The current zip file already includes all the generated model output files. You can find them in subfolders like plots and process_data. In the subfolder results_2TTc, there are the optimization results from DREAM. We call them in the script a_ to create synthetic truth.

本仓库对应研究手稿：《基于弱耦合粒子滤波器（Weakly Coupled Particle Filter）量化填埋场排放潜能》。本仓库涵盖输入与观测数据（降雨量、EV、出流量、浓度）、存放于landfillmodules文件夹内的模型脚本，以及存放于BB11Z_noexchange文件夹内的数据同化脚本（Data Assimilation）。使用本脚本时，需遵循手稿中的说明运行代码：以a_*为前缀的脚本用于生成合成真实值，以b_*为前缀的脚本用于生成初始粒子集合，以c_*为前缀的脚本用于评估集合生成性能，以d_*为前缀的脚本用于执行数据同化，以e_male_plots为名称的脚本用于生成相关绘图；文件名含字符s的脚本采用小型初始整体存储量。当前压缩包已包含所有生成的模型输出文件，可于plots、process_data等子文件夹中获取。在results_2TTc子文件夹中，存有来自DREAM算法的优化结果，我们在a_*类脚本中调用这些结果以生成合成真实值。
