Real-time measurement of the perception of junzi personality and xiaoren personality: Evidence from mouse tracking

To provide a theoretical basis for the current advancement of wise personality education, this study used mouse tracking to measure people's real-time cognitive processes regarding junzi personality and xiaoren personality. The study uses a word-initiated mouse categorization paradigm and discovers that subjects prefer to associate gentlemanly personality trait words with junzi person names and xiaoren personality trait words with villain person names through the analysis of response time and real-time mouse trajectories. This dataset includes the original data of the subjects used in the processing, as well as graphs showing the results. This dataset does not involve subjects' personal information and privacy.
