Fingertip Videos for Heart Rate estimation

Videos of fingertip were recorded with Redmi Note 8 smartphone camera. Data was collected from 24 participants, both male and female in the age group of5 to 77 years. Each participant’s finger was illuminated withtorch light which was right next to the camera. The cameralens was then completely covered with the fingertip. Video was recorded for 20 seconds. The recording frequency of the camera was 30 frames per second (fps). Simultaneously, the ground truth HR was recorded using the Andesfit Health pulse oximeter. The dataset contained HR readings from 59 to 119 bpm.This dataset can be used to extract the PPG waveform from the videos. The ground truth heart rate recorded in excel file can be used as a reference to validate your estimations.
