Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common and lethal tumors in China, but our understanding of the mutational signatures in Chinese HCCs is remarkably limited. Here, by performing whole exome sequencing of 15 HCCs and the corresponding normal tissues in Chinese people, we observed the somatic landscapes of genetic alterations.
