The data is the output of two studies. <br><br> In study 1 we tested the hypotheses that: <ol> <li>Men are more likely to display the better-than-average effect than women, especially when comparing themselves to women. <li>Men who score high on the better-than-average effect also have a bigger tendency to explain things, especially when speaking with women. </ol> In study 2 we tested the hypothesis that: <ol> <li>Women are more prone to the interpretation bias than men, especially when speaking with men. </ol>
