Dataset for: Mercury bioaccumulation in tilefish from the northeastern Gulf of Mexico 2 years after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill: Insights from Hg, C, N and S stable isotopes

This dataset contains measurements of mercury bioaccumulation and stable isotopes of Hg, C, N and S in tilefish from the northeastern Gulf of Mexico from 2012-04-03 to 2013-10-13. Tilefish (Lopholatilus chamaleonticeps) samples were collected using fishery-independent longline surveys on the research vessels Weatherbird II (WB-1215 and WB-1307) in April, and October 2012, St. Andrew Bay (SAB-1201) in July 2012, and Apalachee (AP-1307 and AP-1312) from July - October 2013. The dataset contains dates and the locations of sampling sites and includes biometric data such as standard length and body weight of fish and other data obtained from a variety of mass spectrometer analyzers.
