资源简介:
The Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) was conceived as a partnership between member institutions and Statistics Canada. The universities, as part of their responsibilities in this partnership, undertook a training program to establish a base skill level for DLI Contacts at each member institution. Jointly, Statistics Canada and the universities have provided funding for this training through the DLI budget and through support from member universities. When the first training program was being designed in December 1996, a set of principles was articulated to guide the educational activities in DLI. In the autumn of 2003, these principles were revised in light of changes over the past seven years. This session will review the set of principles and discuss their origin and significance to the DLI training program.
