Digital Transformation in Pharmaceuticals: A TAM-Based Evaluation of ERP's Influence on Decision-Making

This study examines how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation influences the effectiveness of decision-making (EDM) within Sri Lanka’s pharmaceutical industry, a highly regulated sector requiring stringent compliance, operational efficiency, and real-time information access. Five key variables evaluated were Ease of Use of ERP (EUE), Industry-Specific Requirements (ISR), User Requirements and Preferences (URP), Real-Time Reporting Capabilities (RRC), and Regulatory Compliance (RGC), along with the core Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) constructs: Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU).
