Modeling building load flexibility potential in the United States: Data

This dataset provides the end-use disaggregated hourly flexibility potential of a subset of buildings flexibility measures. These measures are applied to specific end uses. In the residential sector, we modeled flexibility in the space cooling and heating end uses only, whereas in the commercial sector, the flexibility measures include space heating and cooling, lighting, and plug loads. This dataset includes all outputs and select inputs from the flexibility potential modeling. The inputs include state level hourly net load profiles for each scenario, D3 metric characterizing the load reduction percentage of each flexibility measure and state, and state-specific factors. Please note that the hourly building load profiles are excluded from this dataset and will be published separately.
