MarginUp! Survey data on using marginal lands for biomas value chains

This dataset contains anonymised responses from the MarginUp! cross-country stakeholder survey, conducted in seven national case studies (Argentina, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Greece, and South Africa). The survey targeted actors directly engaged in or influencing biomass value chains on marginal lands, including farmers, companies, policymakers, NGOs, and researchers. The survey dataset (Q4–Q12) covers stakeholder perspectives on: reasons in favor or against using marginal lands, risk perceptions, governance needs, sustainability priorities, relevant policy instruments, experienced conflicts, information sources, and perceived influence of stakeholder groups, and Q1-Q3 on background characteristics (country, stakeholder group, governance role), etc.
