Data files containing the different chemical and biological parameters obtained at each seawater sampling station.

pHSWS25: seawater pH at the SeaWater Scale and referred to 25C, measured by the spectrophotometric method following Clayton and Byrne (DSR, 1993).
TA: total alkalinity in seawater (mol kg-1 ) measured by double end-point open-cell potentiometric method following Pérez and Fraga (Mar. Chem., 1987).
O2 : dissolved oxygen in seawater (mol kg-1 ) measured with a potentiometric winkler method.
NO3, PO4 y SiO2: in umol/kg measured by conventional autoanalyzer.
DOC: in umol/kg measured by High Catalitic oxidation in a Shimadzu TOC analyzer.
Chla: Spectrofluorophotometer (onboard Hesperides): Shimadzu RS-5301PC
Oxigen isotopes (Dr. Niall Slowey, TAMU):

Precise measurements of the 18O to 16O ratio of the seawater samples will be made using a dual-inlet isotope ratio mass spectrometer following well-accepted methods. To make these measurements, CO2 gas will be isotopically equilibrated with the sample under controlled conditions in the presence of a catalyst and then transferred to the mass spectrometer for analysis. Each sample will be analyzed twice, providing a verification of the analysis and yielding a high precision final result.

Halocarbon measurements (Dr. Shary Yvon-Lewis, TAMU):
Typically we analyze each sample (discrete seawater, air, and equilibrator headspace) for 21 chemical species (HCFC-22, CFC-12, HCFC-142b, Halon-1211, CFC-11, HCFC-141b, CFC-113, CH3CCl3, CCl4, C2Cl4 (PCE), CH3Cl, CH3Br, CH3I, CH2Cl2, CH2Br2, CHCl3, CHBr3, CH2ONO2, C2H4ONO2, i-C3H6ONO2, n-C3H6ONO2).
