Live streaming usage rate on Douyin (TikTok) in China 2020-2024

As of May 2024, Douyin, the Chinese sister app of TikTok, reported to have 90.1 percent of its users streaming live content in China. The Beijing-based short video platform is growing its popularity in the country.
