The code and data are used to compare summed daily FRP from Cunningham, Williamson and Bowman (2024; <i>Nature Ecology and Evolution</i>) with estimates of fire radiative energy, dry matter combusted, and CO2 emissions derived from GFAS daily rates (Kaiser et al 2012). Data were compared for three sample years (2005, 2010, 2015).<br><br>GFAS data were downloaded from https://ads.atmosphere.copernicus.eu/datasets/cams-global-fire-emissions-gfas?tab=download<br><br><b>References</b>Cunningham, C.
